GEO Czech Partners with Changxin Chemical to Advance NMP Recycling Cooperation

On November 8, 2024, in Liyang, Jiangsu, China, Changxin Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., one of the largest NMP (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone) producers in China, joined forces with GEO’s Czech subsidiary to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.This will formally initiate a deep cooperation in NMP recycling and NMP-related businesses. The agreement was signed by He Lei, Vice President of Marketing at Changxin Chemical, and Martin Saewe, President of GEO Europe, on behalf of both parties. This collaboration aims to integrate Changxin Chemical’s market-leading position with GEO’s global resources and technical platform to deliver more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for customers within the Li-ion battery industry. A milestone in promoting the sustainable development of the new energy industry.
