    • Your Role :

      Establish and maintain the GEO CZ EHS management system by implementation & optimizations of the GEO corporate EHS directives.

      Certification / Re-Certification of GEO CZ EHS management as to ISO 14.001 & ISO 45.001.

      Establish and leads the site EHS Committee and ensure that EHS related decisions taken by this instance are implemented.Start EHS incident reporting and investigations system for all GEO CZ operations.

      Audit the regulatory compliance of the GEO CZ production operations by internal or external resources; track corrective action progress.

      Establish GEO CZ yearly EHS KPI, monthly tracking of the development and year end evaluation

      Ensures that all requirements regarding health and safety as stipulated in the Czech regulations are adhered to by the staff.

      Establish and maintain an Emergency plan for the GEO CZ operations.

      Act as the primary point of contact on EHS matters to national/regional authorities and industry organizations

      Support of new GEO investment projects with EHS expertise concerning permitting and EHS aspects.   

      Preparation of all regulatory EHS documents, incl. regulatory reports, technical dossiers and change notifications

      Management of GEO product SDS as to REACh/CLP directives

      Attend REACh reporting and customer information requirements for the GEO products.

      If required engage with the customer departments on the safe use of GEO products.

      Audit RM & FG transport management / container handling

      Prepare and submit EHS reports and overviews to GEO Management when requested.Supervision and guidance of subordinated GEO employees and/or contractor workers.Ensure that a regular EHS training is provided to all GEO personnel, contractors and visitors on chemical, fire and ATEX risks

    • Preferred Qualifications/Experience :

      University degree, preferably in a technical field

      Knowledge of legal norms and regulations in labor law, occupational safety, and environmental protection, as well as familiarity with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards

      Professional competence in risk prevention according to Act No. 309/2006, and certified competency for fire protection according to Act No. 133/1985 (minimum level: technician for fire protection)

      Experience in an industrial company with the implementation of safe workplace principles, ability to manage processes for risk identification and elimination

      Language skills - English, both spoken and written (minimum level B2)
